Do I need a card to start the trial?
No. Create your agency and use every Growth feature free for 14 days. Choose a plan only if you want to continue.
How do I pay?
By M-Pesa, card or bank transfer through Paystack, a licensed payment provider. M-Pesa pays for one month or year at a time and we remind you before it runs out. A card renews by itself until you cancel. Need an invoice instead? Email billing@smartrecruit.co.ke.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your agency becomes read-only: you can still open, print and export every record, but you cannot add or change anything until you choose a plan again.
Can I bring my existing data?
Yes. Import candidates from Excel or CSV in Settings, Import. Moving from another system? Send us an export and we will help you bring it in.
Where is my data kept, and who can see it?
In a secure database in the European Union (Frankfurt), encrypted in transit and at rest. Each agency can only ever see its own records. We follow the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019; read our privacy policy and data processing agreement for the details.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. SmartRecruit runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install.
Is it only for the Gulf?
No. The Kenya to Gulf template is ready on day one, and there are templates for the Philippines and for general recruitment. You can rename, add or remove stages at any time.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. There is no contract. Cancel a card plan from Settings, Plan & billing, and it stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
